No Longer Strangers

Jun 7, 2026    Walt Martin

In Christ, we are not left as strangers or spectators. Paul reminds the church that those who were once far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. Through the cross, Jesus breaks down walls of hostility, makes peace, and forms us into a reconciled family.

This message continues our series, The Name We Carry: Becoming Family in the Body of Christ, by asking what it means to belong—not just to attend, not just to be greeted, but to be built together as a dwelling place for God’s presence. Communion reminds us that grace brings us near, and grace teaches us how to live near.
