Day 77: Deuteronomy 31-34; Luke 1:1-56

Who is chosen by God for His service? An older man, mentored (or discipled, if you prefer) by his elder over years. A teenage girl, innocent and willing, fully surrendered to God's will. Joshua and Mary are polar opposites. Both were chosen. Both were obedient. Both were teachable. Both were greatly used by God. The world has been forever changed because they both answered God's call and were used by Him. How has God called you into His service, for He calls us all? Have you said, 'Yes!'? Learn from Mary and Joshua, and a young ministerial family who made an interesting confession when asked if they were ready to answer God's call: "No! We are not ready in every sense of the word. But, we have learned this: God does not call the equipped, He equips the called. We say 'Yes!' to Him."
