40 Days of Prayer and Fasting - Day 4
Day 4 – Thursday September 14th
I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly;
I do not seal my lips, Lord, as you know.
I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help.
I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness
from the great assembly.
-Psalm 40:9-10
It is easy, in the busyness of life, to forget to include times of testimony. We make our way through our day, checking off check list and doing all of the “to do’s,” but how often do we remember to tell others what God has done in our lives? Do we take the time to tell others that Jesus came into our lives, told us our own story like the woman at the well, offered us forgiveness & REdemption, and invited us onto a new journey with him? While it is good to have times set aside as testimony times, may we more and more live our lives in such a way that our entire lives bear testimony to Jesus’ saving grace. As we journey towards our time of REkindling and REjuvination, pray that God would give you boldness to both speak and live out your testimony every day.
