40 Days of Prayer and Fasting - Day 39
Day 39 – Wednesday October 25th
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
-Psalm 100:4
Tomorrow we shall finally gather; we shall enter his gates, drawn by God’s Spirit for a time of Rekindling, Refreshing, Recommitting, and Recommissioning. Over the next three evenings we will hear of God’s Grace, and experience that grace as God moves among us. God will touch the hearts of those who are not (or not yet) Christians in prevenient grace. He will be with those who accept Christ for the first time with justifying and redeeming grace. And God will mark those who fully surrender themselves or Recommit themselves with sanctifying grace, setting them apart and commissioning them to his mission of mercy and redemption. In your prayer time today, REmember the things you have to be thankful for and thank God for them; Recall the reasons you have to praise him, and sing out your praises to him. Rejoice and be glad, for you God, the creator of all that is, shall be with us.
