Day 41: Leviticus 21-23; Psalm 41

As we read of the sacred festivals (Leviticus 23), O LORD, we are reminded that every good and perfect gift comes from Your hand (James 1:17). Indeed, in You there is no shadow of turning, no change, no fickleness or variation in Your character and love. So, we who are human, broken and fickle; we who are forgiven and cleansed and made holy by Your grace; we who are growing degree by degree into who You have created us to be...like Jesus; we must be reminded of Your goodness, grace and mercy. Let today, and every day, become a festival of humility and repentance, of gratitude lived out because of grace and generosity. Today, we bring the sacrifice of praise, and we know that means in what we say and how we live. Be pleased with us and present in our day, that we may bless You in all things and in every way. We love You, LORD! Amen.
