Day 43: Leviticus 26-27; Psalm 43
Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. (Psalm 42:5,11; 43:5)
Father, God
The fluctuations of emotion, the highs and lows, these are not foreign to you in us human beings. Thank You that You get us! Thank You that You receive us as we come to You. Thank You that we can be totally, completely honest about our joys and our sorrows, our celebrations and our disappointments. Thank You, also, that no matter our present state, we can put our hope and trust in You! This moment, too, shall pass. You, however, are constant, faithful, true. You are unfailing in love and steadfast in care. We give You thanks and praise and put our hope in You! Amen!
