Day 166: Esther 9-10; Job 1-2; Psalm 16

Like Mordecai, O Lord, may I not be so enthralled with fame, or power, or wealth that is worldly (Esther 10:2-3) that I do not embrace Your mission and way as my privilege and priority (Ezra 2:2; Nehemiah 7:7). Like Job, O Lord, may my sole focus be a life that pleases You, then no matter my circumstances, Your praise and worship shall be my life (Job 1:20-22). Indeed, You are my portion and my cup. In You my life and future are secure (Psalm 16:5).
