Day 172: Job 30-33; Psalm 22

Help me ponder this truth and feel its weight: You live in me. Your presence in me flows out through me as You minister to me and to those I encounter. You surround me with Your presence, cover me and care for me, protect me and provide for me. You are my source, my existence, my sustenance, my very life. You are everything to me, and I belong to You. Help me always to abide, to remain, in You. Amen!

Note: Though with certainty this thought was a complaint, Job's words captivated me, and this thought would not leave: "In his great power God becomes like clothing to me..." (Job 30:18a, NIV), and again, "God wraps around me like my clothing..." (The Voice). Add to that Jesus' promise that we would be 'clothed with power from on high' (Luke 24:49), speaking of the gift of the with us/in us Holy Spirit. Lastly, Paul talks about us 'clothing' ourselves with Christ (Galatians 3:27). It gives you food for thought.

Absolutely. The world is a 'cold' place . Got to put on that Coat and Hat- so glad to know that He cares.
