Day 191: Psalms 118-119

Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Your existence and Your presence are not dependent on human acceptance or rejection. Though Your love compels You to be gracious, Your mission and plan is not altered by human choices, even though Your heart hurts if we spurn Your nail-pierced hands extended to us in love. It is because You are the Cornerstone, the Capstone, the Rock of salvation and the Rock of ages, that we are secure in You, and only 'in' You. So, by grace we accept Who You are and Who You are to us and in so doing, we become who You created us to be...children of God, chosen and dearly loved...and eternally grateful! Amen.
