Day 199: Proverbs 20-24; Psalm 28

LORD, we read in Your Word that unless the LORD builds a house, those who labor do so in vain (Psalm 127:1). Please build the houses of our families. Let wisdom, the applied knowledge of Your Word, be the foundation of our homes. Added to wisdom, may Your Holy Spirit give understanding, so that combined with the common sense You created in us, our surrendered lives may flourish. And, yes, may we grow in our true knowledge because You have created us to do so, learning and living and bearing fruit from all we gain through You. Yes, LORD, be our house-builders and the Guard over our gates, that our homes may give You glory and abide in Your shalom. In the Name of Jesus we ask. Amen!
