Day 204: Ecclesiastes 11-12; Song of Solomon 1-4; Psalm 33
"His banner over me is love" (Song of Solomon 2:4)
How I remember that Scripture put to music in the children's song and how much more it means to me today. You have prepared a feast for me and brought me to Your banquet table...so much more than the food I eat to the nourishment of my soul and Your abundant provision, my daily bread. Mostly, You have lavished Your love on me. Your banner, Your standard, Your symbol of victory is love...loyal love, unfailing love, agape. There, under Your banner I rest secure, grateful for Your great grace and the gift of Your presence. Thank You that You have pursued me with Your goodness and unfailing love and have prepared an eternal home for me. I am blessed beyond measure!

How I remember this song! With the accompanying motions, that really made it real, for this long time ago little girl.
Yes, motions help us remember...grateful for all who taught them to us...and those who still do!
