Day 207: Isaiah 6-9; Psalm 36

O Lord our God, these are days in which we cannot live by the status quo or waffle with the winds of every whim and fancy in our world. As someone has said, "If we do not stand for something, we will fall for anything." As You said through Isaiah, Your prophet: "If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all." (Isaiah 7:9b, NIV). We cannot afford to be fence-sitters. May we be bold in standing for what is right, and may our conversation always be seasoned with grace as we speak the truth in love. In everything, may our lives reflect You, our heavenly Father, and so bring You joy. It is You we serve with gladness!
