Day 217: Isaiah 45-48; Psalm 46

Today You have reminded us in Your Word that You rule and overrule Your wonders to perform. There is no king, prime minister, or president who can thwart Your sovereignty; no pope, ayatollah, or general superintendent who can rewrite Your Word. What You have said, You will do. What You have purposed is as good as done. This brings us, Your children, incredible comfort and hope beyond the powers and politics of this world. You are our salvation. You are our life, and we worship You! Be glorified in us today! In the Name of Jesus, our Lord, we pray. Amen!
