Day 219: Isaiah 52-56; Psalm 48

Thank You, Our God and Father, for the invitation to come to You and freely have our thirst satisfied in You (Isaiah 55:1). This reminds us of Jesus' words that all who are weary should come to Him and find rest (Matthew 11:28-30), and His invitation to drink the Water of Life (John 4:14) and eat the Bread of Life (John 6:35) and be fully satisfied. Today we can testify that You have quenched our thirst and You have satisfied our hunger. Yes, Jesus is enough and He is all we need. And, so, with grateful hearts, we give You thanks and worship You! May the overflow of Christ in us reflect His love to all we encounter this day, and may their thirsty, hungry souls be drawn to Him because we have been vessels of grace. In His Name we ask this, Amen!
