Day 222: Isaiah 65 - Jeremiah 1; Psalm 51

It's true, Lord, You have answered us before we call on You (Isaiah 65:24) and we have lived in the blessing of Your grace and mercy as we have been embraced by Your love. It is also true, Lord, that too often when You have called on us, we have been too distracted and self-absorbed to listen to and answer You (Isaiah 66:4). Have mercy on us, O Lord, and forgive us, according to Your unfailing love. Today, pour out Your Spirit on us anew and afresh that we may answer Your call and live lives that proclaim Your love and faithfulness that many may hear, respond to, and embrace Your love. This we ask for Jesus' sake and in His Name. Amen!

This so echoes the message in my 'Daily Bread publication for today. I have been receiving this in the mail for the last 18 years, in my late Mother's name. Mom would have been 100 years yesterday. She is why I am a Christian. Guess she is still sending that same testimony from Heaven.❣️

I love it when God coordinates our devotional reading...and I pray that I always listen to His reinforcement of His personal message to me.
