Day 223: Jeremiah 2-4; Psalm 52

Father, not only do You remember 'the devotion of our youth' (Jeremiah 2:2), but so do we. Those moments when we were so amazed by Your loving forgiveness, rejoicing over the removal of our sin and guilt, and the joy of Your presence as we devoured Your Word with appetites for knowledge of You and the Truth. We remember how we worshiped with abandon and freely gave of ourselves when asked to serve. Today, what do You see in us? What do You want from us? How shall we live to bring You glory and honor? When You remember this day in our lives, this season, may joy be Your response, for that is what our hearts desire! Amen!
