Day 264: Daniel 4-5; Psalm 93

O LORD, You do rule! Sovereign, Supreme, that is what You are. There is no ruler, no despot who can thwart Your plans or overrule Your purpose. You are LORD! LORD, rule in our hearts! May we be like Daniel of whom it was repeatedly said, 'the spirit of the holy gods' was in him (Daniel 4:8,9,18; 5:11,14). We know that what was being witnessed was this: the Holy Spirit of God was in him and it was evident. Your Holy Spirit is in us. May the world recognize His presence in us and be drawn to You.
