Day 267: Daniel 10-11; Psalm 96
When it seems our prayers are unanswered, remind us of the unseen...that which is beyond our human perception. The moment we cry out is the moment You respond. Sometimes the delays are not delays, but Your perfect timing. Sometimes they are the evidence that what Paul wrote is true: 'We do not wrestle with flesh and blood but with dark and evil spiritual forces' (Daniel 10:12-14; Ephesians 6:12). Sometimes Your love for us is too great to grant what may harm surrendered hearts. Whatever the cause of the delays, help us to trust You wholly, for we know that You are trustworthy and true, that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we think or ask, and that You love us with an everlasting love. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Got to remember these truths. I get disgusted and ,yes, disillusioned with God’s silence and seeming apathy. Little human me, how I dare to think that. All the same…
2 Corinthians 12:9 says, "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me".
n This is the answer God gave Paul, when Paul asked him why he hadn't answered his plea three times about the thorn Santan had placed on his flesh. Then Paul said he would boast more about his weaknesses so Christ power may rest in him. It was perfect time for me to read this verse because after a rollercoaster week, I prayed to Jesus that no matter what I go through I will boast on my weakness to him and keep trusting him.
Thank you so much for sharing this truth!
Thank you Maria. This reminder of Paul’s struggles gave me some insight and a measure of peace.
