Day 275: Micah 4-7; Nahum 1; Psalm 104

In You there is no shame, or shaming, when people respond to Your pursuing grace and turn their hearts toward You. For, out of Your mercy, You show compassion. Your Word says that You completely crush our sins confessed and dump them into the sea of Your forgetfulness (Micah 7:19). Since Jesus, Savior, is our Peace (Micah 5:5a), our shame has turned into shalom, and the tragedy of our hell-bound lives has been erased, becoming a heaven-bound triumph. And, in the telling of our story of the wonderful grace of Jesus, the keeping grace of Jesus, we exchange shame for power and invite people to this glorious freedom, this perfect peace. What a privilege! Receive our praise and embolden us to go and tell the Good News! In Jesus Name and for His sake. Amen.
