Day 245: Psalms 148-150; 1 Corinthians 11:17-34

As my devotional time came to a close yesterday, the door opened, and there were our granddaughters. I knew they were coming, I wasn't certain when. Joy! What that meant was they got my attention and the blog did not. For those of you who faithfully read this, thanks for your patience and endurance! I pondered this all in light of the grand crescendo of the Psalms with the fitting 'Hallels' of the closing prayer/praise poems. From the gift of a child's pure laughter that stirs up a deep joy and appreciation for the details of God's faithful, loyal, covenant love, praise arises. From the beauty of a moonscape across the seas, and the rhythms of steady rain, praise arises. From the contemplation of the eternal vastness of our Great God, to the miracle of miracles, a heart saved and changed by His grace, praise arises. And, should I choose to continue writing, I would run out of words after volumes, and yet the praise of One Greater than the confine of imagination and inscription, would continue...He is worthy of our Hallelujahs for all eternity! Join the chorus and let everything that has His breath within praise His Holy Name! Hallelujah!
