Day 256: Proverbs 21-22; 2 Corinthians 4
We do not give up...
From the beginning to the end of Paul's conversation in 2 Corinthians 4, we are reminded why we don't give up...it is because of God's mercy, because of His presence in these 'jars of clay', because He chooses to work in and through us in the midst of opposition and aging showing us His face, because of the incredible hope of eternity, the heavenly weight of glory that far exceeds these momentary afflictions. Ponder these truths. Hold on! He is here and He will see you through. Truth be told, you and I cannot imagine the glory that awaits us, but it will be worth it all!
