40 Days of Prayer and Fasting - Day 3
Day 3 – Wednesday September 13th
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
-1 John 5:14-15
How blessed we are that God knows our needs and desires to provide for us! God hears us when we bring our praises! God hears us when we bring our gratitude! God hears us when we bear our burdens to him! And God hears us when we bring our petitions. God does not only call us to take part in his great mission of REdemption and REnewal, his Missio Dei, but also desires to provide what we need as we take part in that Kingdom mission. As you pray today, approach God boldly and in confidence, knowing that we are on a mission that God has called us to, and that he REjoices in equipping us for that which he calls us to. Ask your Father for what you and your church family needs, and pray that he be with us in this work.
