40 Days of Prayer and Fasting - Day 10
Day 10 – Thursday September 21st
We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak
and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please
our neighbors for their good, to build them up.
-Romans 15:1-2
When the apostle Paul described the agape love that we are to have for God and for our neighbor, the first word that he used was patience. Perhaps part of the reason for this is because patience is sometimes something that we struggle with. We are all on a journey of grace with Jesus, and we are all at different points along that journey. Pray for opportunities to “please our neighbors for their good” and to encourage and build them up. Pray also for opportunities to invite them to the revival services. May we be REminded of the patience that God has shown us, and may we share that same grace with them.
