Day 268: Isaiah 1-3; Galatians 2

Do you ever read the Scripture and remark about how uncanny it is that the Word parallels the world in which we live? Isaiah 1-3 seems to be describing our world...2023. Scary! Human nature has not changed since Isaiah's day...since Adam's disobedience. Even Paul is scolding the Galatian Christians for reverting to their old ways in our New Testament reading. He then points to the only hope of change: "I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20, CSB). This is my testimony, for Christ alone is my hope!

I am for this- " Christ alone is my Hope." Man and the world always come away lacking. I just have to believe it more it more fully. Because I lack too.

Thank God for filling up our lack by the cross of Christ. Being crucified with Him, I truly live.
