Day 275: Isaiah 22-23; Ephesians 3

Eliakim was to be given the key to the house of David (Isaiah 22:20-25), so that what he opened, no one could shut and what he closed, no one could open (v.22). He becomes a type of Jesus Christ, the ultimate bearer of the key of David (Revelation 3:7). He has placed before us an open door which no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). Mission is the heart of God and when we embrace His call, no one can interfere with what He does in and through us to reach our world for Jesus. Walk through the door He has opened. He will do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine in Christ and His church (Ephesians 3:20-21).
