Day 276: Isaiah 24-26; Ephesians 4

On this mountain Yahweh Sabaoth will prepare for all people
    a feast with the best foods,
    a banquet with aged wines,
        with the best foods and the finest wines.
On this mountain he will remove
    the veil of grief covering all people
        and the mask covering all nations.
He will swallow up death forever.
    Adonai Yahweh will wipe away tears from every face,
    and he will remove the disgrace of his people from the whole earth.
 Yahweh has spoken. (Isaiah 25:6-8, Names of God)

Can you call to mind the meanings behind the Matchless Name of our God...a Name above all names so that a single word cannot capture His essence? Yahweh = I AM; I will be what you need me to be when you need me to be that; Ever-Present Promise Keeper; Loyal God; Covenant God; Breath of Life. Sabaoth = Hosts of Heaven; Heaven's Armies; it is always coupled with another God-title, here I AM always the LORD of Heaven's Armies. No power on earth or in heaven can match His power, let alone the power of His Heavenly Armies. Adonai = Creator God in active relationship with His creation; the Heavenly Administrator; the Head of His Household; our Father.

He is the One Who will win the victory for us over every struggle and welcome us to the Feast of feasts (Revelation 19:9). He is the One Who has defeated death once and for all, and will finally put it in its place (Revelation 20:14). He is the One Who will wipe away every tear and silence every disgrace (Revelation 21:4). He has spoken: "It is finished!"
