Day 288: Isaiah 53-55; 1 Thessalonians 3

Since Isaiah 40, have you been amazed at how often we read that God is for us? He is Sovereign, He is Savior. He is Righteous, He is Redeemer. He is Holy, He makes whole. He is Eternal, He makes an everlasting covenant. He is High and Lofty; He is here with the lowly; He is the Promise, He is the Promise-keeper. His love and commitment to our eternally dwelling with Him is beyond comprehension. How awesome is He!!!

In Paul's prayer for the Thessalonians, I see that commitment continue: "Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you. And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow with love for one another and for everyone, just as we do for you. May he make your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints. Amen." (1 Thessalonians 3:11-13, CSB). I believe that prayer is for me, and I pray that prayer for you.
