Day 33 – Wednesday October 18th
He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be
afraid or discouraged because of this vast army.
For the battle is not yours, but God’s.
-2 Chronicles 20:15
When the battle lines have been drawn and we are standing on that front line looking across the field at the armies that are arrayed against us, it is easy to find ourselves shaking in our boots like the Israeli army standing before Goliath. Our problems, our stresses, our fears, and sometimes our difficulties with other people seem like an army of giants laughing and challenging us to a fight. At those times it is essential to REmember just who our God is. He tells us not to be afraid or discouraged, but the battle is his. Pray that God will help all of us RElease our fears, and trust him more.
