Day 307: Jeremiah 33-35; Titus 3

When I came to my computer this morning, I had no internet. I am glad that though my electronics did not function, I can still open the pages of God's Word. What was affectionately called 'God's phone number' in my teen years, 333, jumped out at me: "Call unto me and I will answer thee and shew thee great and mighty things thou knowest not." Yes, we learned Jeremiah 33:3 in the good old King James Version. As I prayed, this verse jumped out at me: "This city [Jerusalem] will bear on my behalf a name of joy, praise, and glory before all the nations of the earth, who will hear of all the prosperity I will give them. They will tremble with awe because of all the good and all the peace I will bring about for them." (Jeremiah 33:9, CSB)

"Lord, let that great and mighty thing be the glory of Your presence before the nations now! Bring shalom in the midst of turmoil, and salvation to a lost and broken world through Yeshua, the Messiah. Amen!"
