Day 315: Lamentations 1-2; Hebrews 7
"He is able to save completely those who come to God through him..." (Hebrews 7:25)
The writer to Hebrews calls Jesus 'the guarantee of a better covenant' (7:22) and a 'permanent priest' (7:24) who 'ever lives to make intercession' (7:25). There is no lack in what Jesus has done and no inability on His part to accomplish God's plan. In fact, it is done, complete, fulfilled...yes it was finished on the cross (John 19:30). Recently, my heart broke at the news of someone who was convinced that Christ could never forgive them...they were beyond redemption. Not so!!! He is able to save completely. Never believe the devil's lie that you are beyond the work of Jesus to save. Everything He does, He does well and completely. Our God is mighty to save! Believe! Then, let the world know!
