Day 336: Ezekiel 45-46; 2 Peter 3

"Instead, grow in grace and in the true knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Anointed, to whom be glory, now and until the coming of the new age. Amen." (2 Peter 3:18, The Voice)

Last words matter. Peter's final words to his audience are: keep on keeping on in your journey of faith in Christ for His glory. Grow! (present tense, active voice) You and I are taking responsibility for our part. Yes, we are growing in grace...grace is all about God's free and undeserved gift, about God's keeping and sustaining us, about God's finally conforming us to the likeness of Christ...but the gift received has to be applied and when you add intimate knowledge, you are talking about a life-time of personal, intentional, experiential relationship with Jesus, Savior and Lord.
