Day 353: Micah 1-2; Revelation 9

One thing I listen for is the sound of gathering on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Before the music begins, or Bible study starts, one thing you can count on is the sweet sound of fellowship. Yes, people having conversations...catching up, enjoying each other's company. There is laughter that accompanies embraces and there is joy in the house of the Lord. When I was away, I had to chuckle. I visited a Nazarene Church where I encountered something familiar...the sweet sound of fellowship. As the pastor called everyone in to worship, he commented on the beauty of gathering in a place where people enjoy each other's company and it shows up in the sound of light-hearted conversation. I felt at home. There is something wonderful about the delightful din.

"I will indeed gather all of you...I will collect the remnant...I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in the middle of its pasture. It will be noisy with people." (Micah 2:12, CSB)

I love this! Being a talker from birth, I love to chat!! lol Especially in church, where I feel accepted.
