Day 361: Zechariah 1-3; Revelation 17

Zechariah has a favorite reference for God: Yahweh Sabaoth, LORD of Heaven's Armies. He is our Covenant and Ever-present LORD Who is All-commanding and Sovereign in the execution of His will...His power backs up His Word, His promises. How beautiful to hear Him speak so tenderly to His faithful remnant: "In mercy/with compassion I have returned to Jerusalem and I will rebuild..." (Zechariah 1:16). Out of the exile there will be full restoration...this is our LORD. As the final battle wages in the Revelation, the Enemy of God who is also the Deceiver, Accuser, Destroyer with his sites set on the decimation of the Church, the Bride...but fear not, the Lamb is victorious! And, God's Church is not abandoned, for look! With the Lamb are the called, the chosen, the faithful...more than conquerors! Abandon yourself to Him and you will never be abandoned!
