Day 3: Genesis 8-11; Psalm 3

Yes, LORD,
You are my Shield and Protector, my Deliverer and my Glory, my Promise and the One Who Lifts Me Up. Even in Your discipline of me, I see Your heart of grace and trust that You are working for my good. When I ponder my journey, even those moments and circumstances I do not understand, by faith I believe that You are working Your perfect plan in my life. Yes, I see it in Your Word and I recall these truths as I ponder Your purposeful presence through my years. From deep within my heart cries out with gratitude to You. Thank You, LORD! Today may my life be an instrument of praise raising sweet music to Your ears, and may my song of worship bring You joy.
All this I ask in the Name of Jesus. Amen!

It is a good reminder for me, that God's discipline is meant for my good. Not because of a human's bad judgement.

Not God, but humans let anger, wrong motives influence their actions. Including myself.

Thanks for sharing! Though I have been humbled by God's discipline, I have never felt belittled or shamed by Him. God is good and gracious.
