Day 9: Genesis 27-29; Psalm 9

Our Father in Heaven,
Today Your Word has reminded me that we live in community, and that the choices we make impact others, just as their choices impact us. Help us to live so presently with You that our lives become a reflection of Jesus and our choices are like salt seasoning our world, like light illuminating the darkness while shining out Your glory. Remind us that when we hurt others by our choices we must seek to make things right; when we are wronged help us live forgiving; and, for those who are afflicted by the choices of others, lift them into the hope of Your deliverance. Thank You that we are never alone! You are at the center of this community...You are the Center. Therein lies our Help today and our Eternal Hope, so we give You thanks and praise as we ask these things all in Jesus' Name. Amen!

So grateful for God's forgiveness and mercy. Just need to thoughtfully and sincerely pray for me to forget and ask for genuine forgiveness.

True! It often takes God's help for us to forget, or let go of, those offenses against us. In fact, the divine aid in forgiving supersedes the forgetting, or lack thereof. There are things I may never forget, but they do not consume or control me because God, Who has forgiven me much, has enabled me truly to forgive others. It's all grace!
