Day 11: Genesis 32-33; Psalm 11

"For the LORD is [absolutely] righteous, He loves righteousness (virtue, morality, justice);
The upright shall see His face." (Psalm 11:7, AMP)

LORD, "I AM" Keeper of Covenant,
You are the One we worship and adore! Before You we bow in reverence and awe. You are holy and wholly other, infinitely higher and wider and deeper than we can begin to comprehend, so our fitting response is humbly to bow in Your presence. That You even stoop down to listen to our attempts at praise and worship is beyond amazing. Yet, You do! And, we are deeply grateful. How is it then, holy and righteous Father, that You accept the audacity of wrestling matches between the Eternal and His creation? Jacob's wrestling match (Genesis 32:22-32) inspires us. Your interaction with Him challenges and emboldens us at the same time. May our hearts be so inclined to You that by Your grace we live rightly. And, in our desperation to know You and Your will for our lives, may we strive to see You face-to-face. Because You loved us first and best, we love You, too! We pray this in the Name of Jesus, the Incarnate Word. Amen!
