Day 22: Exodus 12-13; Psalm 22

Father in Heaven, Immanuel,
How far will You go to save Your people? Today our Scripture reading took us to Exodus 12 and Psalm 22. History records Your mighty acts...Your mighty arm and outstretched hand...in order to set Your people free. Passover is still the celebration of Your Chosen, by blood and by the blood of the Lamb. How the Psalmist could picture the Great Passover of our Savior one thousand years in advance is Inspired. Because of Your commitment to our salvation, future generations do know of Your saving love and Your righteous acts. How we worship You today! You are worthy, worthy, worthy! We are grateful beyond words for our great salvation, and so, anew, we offer all that we are and all that we have to you as a sacrifice of praise. Inhabit our praises and so glorify Yourself. In the Name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

The words " Because of your commitment to our salvation" made me think of the unending love God has for us and how we need to not " pause" on our commitment to him, but constantly be praying and praising him in our walk in life.
