Day 31: Exodus 36-38; Psalm 31

I love the generosity of Your people in response to Your great grace, my LORD! Grace begets gratitude, and gratitude begets generosity. This I have seen over and over again, and it is humbling. Thank You! As I ponder this, it dawns on me that even Your acceptance of our generosity toward You with joy is grace, for You need nothing that we bring. It all belongs to You in the first place. You have simply made us stewards. So, You remind us in this grace of generous giving, that all of this comes from Your hand...every good and perfect gift. And, the first and greatest gift is our salvation. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Today, would You receive the gifts of our talents and our treasures and our time as an overflow of our absolute and total surrender to You. May the gift of ourselves, a sacrifice of praise, be pleasing and acceptable in Your sight. This is our alabaster offering from hearts overwhelmed with gratitude. We love You!

So all the skilled workers who were doing all the work on the sanctuary left what they were doing and said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the Lord commanded to be done.” (Exodus 36:4-5, NIV)

So thankful that God accepts my feeble words and prayers. He needs nothing. He made it all.
