Day 54: Numbers 23-25; Psalm 54
God is not human, that he should lie,
not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill?
I have received a command to bless;
he has blessed, and I cannot change it. (Numbers 23:19-20, NIV)
Great is Your faithfulness, O God our Father!
There is no shadow of turning with You.
You do not change, Your compassions never fail!
As You have always been, You will always be!
Pardon for sin and enduring peace,
Your very dear presence to cheer and guide,
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
These blessings are ours and countless more!
You have commanded blessing over us and no person, or political power, or spiritual enemy can thwart Your Word! What You say, You do! We are deeply humbled and profoundly grateful and we worship You with all that we are!
