Day 56: Numbers 29-30; Psalm 56

Father God,
You are faithful and true, constant in love and abounding in mercy and grace. We worship You! Today we are grateful for the rhythms of grace. Thank You for the moments when we practice the means of grace with routine. The daily sacrifices of the holy feasts, the repeated refrains of the surrendered Psalmist, these remind us that there are good acts of faith and relationship that we exercise by habit. Be real and present in all of these, and by Your Spirit, help us to be real and present in our daily and weekly spiritual disciplines. May our devotional times be true communion. May our Sunday gatherings be fully present worship, our attendance in discipling moments filled with the desire to learn and grow. May our regular giving be joy for every good and perfect gift we steward. May our table grace recognize Your presence as we are nourished and as we nurture family and friendship. May everything we do by practice never become mundane. So, help us always to be growing more into the likeness of our Savior and Lord whom we love and worship. It is in His Name, Jesus, we ask all of this. Amen!
