Day 66: Deuteronomy 18-20; Psalm 66

Abba Father,
Today we are aware of the promise of presence. You have been there with us in the thick of the battle and You keep Your promises, for the LORD (Yahweh) our God (Elohim) does go with us (Deuteronomy 20:1). Not only that, but when it has seemed as though the battles we face have overwhelmed us, You have been there and You have brought us out into a place of Your abundant provision (Psalm 66:12). Thank You that with the promise of Your presence comes this peace and assurance: You never leave us or forsake us, so we say with confidence, "The LORD is my Helper, I will not be afraid, what can mere mortals do to me" (Hebrews 13:5). Thank You, You are present! Help us this day to be fully present with You! In Jesus' Name we ask. Amen.

I continue to be inspired and comforted by the above verse-"... The Lord is my Helper, I will not be afraid, what can mere mortals do to me..."
