Blessing Our Community - Day 46

DAY 46 - Wednesday, May 15, 2024

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Scripture Insights
Isaiah brings us great news for today: God is with us! Our God is not some distant, unattached being who ignores or disengages from humanity. Instead, God is intricately connected to humanity, moving and working in our world and journeying alongside us every step of the way.
As you seek to engage your community just as God engages with us, you may be considering the energy, resources, money, and time that will be re-quired. You may be anxious about doing it “right,” or unsure of how to best be a blessing to your community, or even where to begin. Let the words of Isaiah bring you hope today. God will strengthen you and help you! You are not alone. Trust in the Lord’s help and partnership with you as you pour out his blessing and love to the world around you.
God is with us—close to you even now as you read this—and God is trustworthy to be with you as you go and engage the world. God is already at work in every person we come across. Our call is to engage the work that God is already doing, trusting that God’s presence is with us always.
We need not fear! God is with us!

Today’s Prayer
Holy God, open our eyes to seeing the ways that you are moving and working in the world. Give us courage to partner with you in all that you are doing. Give us the assurance that you are with us.
