Day 210: Isaiah 19-23; Psalm 39

The hope of redemption is great for that hope is placed in God alone. If Egypt can be redeemed and Assyria join the worship (Isaiah 19:23-25), then, indeed, there is hope for the wayward and the oppressor. So let us join the prayer for the lost to be found and the enemy to become family. Let us celebrate God's inheritance in Israel and rejoice that He has grafted us into His family. Our hope is in the LORD alone, and that hope is sure!

The word - " hope," has always had a comforting feeling about it for me. Without it, there is a real lonely and desolate situation.

I love the fact that for God's children, hope is a certainty, a guarantee, a surety.
