Day 316: John 10-11; Psalm 145

The word for today is 'believe.' It is used 14 times in our reading in John (John 10-11). The question You ask, Lord Jesus, must be answered: "Do you believe?" The statement preceding that is "I AM..." Believing is seeing that You are 'I AM' and living out that belief. Not believing is disobedience. May we take in every aspect of 'believe' and may we live it. And, if we are feeling our own weakness, remind us that You heard and received the prayer of a desperate and honest father: "I believe. Help my unbelief."

I like that last part here. My doubts are always waiting in the back of my mind. Only My Maker can erase them.

I am so glad that Father spoke his heart to Jesus...he spoke for so many of us.
